Ashtanga Workshops with John Scott at Oasis Holistic

John Scott is a world-renowned practitioner of Ashtanga Yoga and presents both National and International Workshops. John has also produced a best-selling Ashtanga Yoga Book, "Ashtanga Yoga". He has had many celebrity clients, including Madonna, and he regularly assists Sting and Trudie Styler with their Ashtanga practices.

John was certified to teach by Shri K Pattabhi Jois in 1996, having studied with him in Mysore, South India, since 1989. His depth of knowledge and enthusiasm for sharing his experience is readily apparent in his classes.

John's teaching is very precise and follows the two traditional teaching methods "Mysore Self Practice" and "Vinyasa Counting". John also explores a third presentation "Technique Seminars".

Monday to Friday, 7 to 9.30pm

Day 1: Starting with Bandha and foundation to Yoga, and the Fundamental foundations and openings.
Day 2: Flexible Mind - Flexible Body, Full and Free breath, Full and Free movement.
Day 3: Givers and Receivers, and Budding to Blossom.
Day 4: Working with the depths of Yoga, in simplicity - the Five Layers.
Day 5: The Heart of Yoga.

This workshop will reveal or answer the question of "Where is the Spirituality in Ashtanga Yoga?" Please come prepared to take off the glasses of projected perceptions.

All levels are welcome.
