Cathy Louise Broda has been teaching Ashtanga Yoga for 17 years and was authorized by Sri K Pattabhi Jois in 2000. She teaches Mysore-style Ashtanga, as well as Pregnancy and Mom & Baby yoga, at her studio in Honolulu, Hawaii. She has three young daughters.

Cathy Louise previously taught at Triyoga in London, and assisted John Scott before leading her own Mysore classes at Astanga Yoga London.

During her 17 years of teaching Ashtanga, Cathy Louise Broda has become known for an intuitive touch that can transform your practice. For this weekend intensive, she will teach how to give and receive safe and sure adjustments. Cathy Louise will also share her perspective on the three types of students and the different ways to work with them. Both teachers and students of any style of yoga are welcome. Friday 7.00 - 9.00pm The right touch: Introduction to adjustments Saturday 1.00 - 3.00pm Dancing with the sun: Suryanamaskara A & B Saturday 4.00 - 6.00pm From the ground up: Building energy in standing poses Sunday 1.00 - 3.00pm Moving into stillness: Vinyasa and the seated asanas Sunday 4.00 - 6.00pm Closing the series: Back-bending and inversions
